Backend & AI Engineer · Kerala, India

Hi, I’m Asin.

I mostly build backends, including AI voice agent integrations, and I experiment a lot. In my free time, I mentor, teach and help run tech communities.

A canvas where you draw an automation, and it ships as a Cloudflare Worker.

Writing an automation is the easy part; hosting it and keeping it running is where most ideas stall. So my teammates and I built a visual workflow builder: each step is a node on a canvas, and the finished graph gets compiled into a Cloudflare Worker and deployed. Once you’ve drawn the flow, it’s live, and nobody has to write deployment config.

BuildHabit

Visit BuildHabit

A habit tracker built around one thing: the streak.

Habits fall apart quietly, usually because there’s no record of the last few weeks to protect. BuildHabit is a daily check-in and a streak. Marking a day done is one tap, and once you have a streak, you don’t want to break it. React on the front, Supabase for auth and data, with row-level security per user.

AI form builder

MakeMyPass

Visit MakeMyPass

Describe the form you need, get a working one back.

Building registration forms field by field is slow when you already know what you want. I built an AI form builder with FastAPI and the Groq API: you describe the form in a sentence, and you get a complete form to start from instead of a blank canvas.

Patients book appointments and upload prescriptions; doctors manage their own availability. I built it with Django, using AWS Cognito for sign-in, DynamoDB for data, SNS for notifications and GitHub Actions for deploys.

Community & open source

People I’ve built with.

Communities I’ve started, run and taught in, plus some open-source work.

How it started

part 1 of 7

When I joined college in 2022, there was no tech community on campus. Nothing that built or promoted a tech culture.

200+ GDG On Campus membersGDG On Campus members
GDG On Campus, College of Engineering Perumon

I started a GDG chapter from zero.

It’s the first GDG On Campus chapter at the College of Engineering Perumon. We grew it to 200+ members with workshops, hackathons and cloud sessions.

Mentoring

Mentor at RigLabs

I was a mentor at RigLabs, and for their ASAP event I took sessions on Google tools and AI for arts and science students at three colleges in south Kerala.

AiSOC · Open source

I contributed features, fixes and docs to AiSOC, an AI security operations platform. 3+ of my pull requests got merged.

GTech MuLearn · Community Lead

I brought our campus chapter back to life with coding sprints, peer learning and mentoring. The chapter went on to earn 150K+ karma points.

Events I’ve run

I led the INCEPTO’24 hackathon and Build-My-Web, which reached 300+ participants, and helped organise GDG WOW Kerala 2025. GTech µLearn also recommended me for leadership.

Experience

Where I’ve worked.

I joined Sixtysix Technologies as an intern building AI voice agents, and stayed on as a backend engineer.

Backend Engineer

I worked on Howdify, an AI-powered communication platform. I built backend features from start to finish: the database schema, the Django-Ninja APIs and the third-party integrations, in Python with Supabase.

AI Engineering Intern

I built two AI voice agents for enterprise clients with Django-Ninja, Retell AI, PostgreSQL and LLM APIs, and both went into production. They helped bring in clients, and that’s why my internship was extended and turned into a backend role.

About

A bit about me.

I’m from Kerala, India. Most of my work is backend: APIs, databases and integrations, and lately a lot of it has been for AI voice agents. I also experiment a lot.

I did my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at the College of Engineering Perumon (Nov 2022 – Jun 2026) and finished with a CGPA of 8.5/10.
